MY FAMILY
My family is normal like any one’s else. The happiest thing
is my parents always take care of me, love me and worry about me all of time.
My parents are simple people. My dad was a police man. His job requires him to
get night shifts so that he often feels exhausted when getting home in the
morning. My mom is a housewife, she is an excellent cook. My mother always
supports me following my dream. The last person is my sister. I admire her very
much because of her successful and joyful life. My father and my sister are
rarely at home so my mother is the closest person to me. She has become my good
friend. Although the members in my family barely have a trip or a Sunday
meeting together, we still take after each other. I love my family.
MY BEST FRIEND
My best
friend is Viet. He’s a high school student like me. He has short black hair and
brown eyes. He’s intelligent. Especially, he’s very good at Math. He has a good
sense of humor although his life isn’t good. He and I have the same habits such
as movies, computers and writing stories. He’s ready to help me with my
difficulties in life and cheese me up quickly. He’s a good listener and a
caring person. He always treats people kindly. He uses computer very well so I
usually ask him for my computer’s problem. He wants to be a web-designer in the
future because he loves studying media and arts. I love to be his friend
because of his characteristic, his kindness and his honesty.
THE TRIP I HAVE
TAKEN
The last
summer vacation, I was in Phu Quoc Island. I went to Phu Quoc four years ago
with my aunt’s family. We stayed for three days at a resort right next to the
beach. There was a beautiful place with nice service and fresh atmosphere.
During the days, we were driven to lots of interesting places. For example, we
went swimming at Sao Beach – a fantastic beach with completely pure water. We
visited the local town market to buy some food. We also went to a famous shop
which sold pearls. The last day, we spent the whole morning having picnic at a
mountain waterfall. It’s a lovely picnic with nice weather and cool activities
and had a swim in amazing water. It’s the best trip I’ve ever taken. I like
everything in there and I wish could go to Phu Quoc again, someday.
MY TYPICAL DAY
I’m a student
so the most time I have for studying. Everything starts in 5:30 am. I get up,
wash my face, brush my teeth and have a breakfast serviced by my mother. I
arrive at school in usually from seven to half past eleven. After a lovely
school-time, I come home and have lunch. Then, I get a nap to get back energy.
In the afternoon, it’s time I study by myself. I often spend the afternoon
doing Math exercises or learning Biology. In the evening, I take bath, have
dinner and continue studying. I spend a short time, usually about 30 minutes to
watching TV or playing video game to entertain. After all, I prepare to
tomorrow schedule and go to bed.
WHAT I WANT TO
BECOME
I want to be a successful movie screenwriter. I am a dreamer
and an idealistic person that sometimes, people think my dream is fancy and
unachievable. But I always follow my
dream by working hard as much as possible. My habits are watching movie,
writing and reading. I'm interested in Psychology, Languages and Cultures of
every country in the world, traveling to many places and meeting interesting
people. My life would be active and adventurous. That life allows me to freely
work and develop my skill with creativity and imagination. Being a professional
writer, I could touch viewer’s soul, bring and share the world to them.
A PERSON WHO I
ADMIRE
The person
who I admire most is my sister. She studies English Linguistics. Besides, she
studies very hard to get scholarship of some great university in English. I’m
lucky to have her to be my guide. She supports me in following my dream. She is
good at many things such as cooking, singing and drawing. She is such a caring
person that she always spends her time to deal with my problem. Though she has
a lot of difficulties in life but she always smiles at me and give me
optimistic advises. It’s easy for her to make new friends because of her
kindness and honesty. I love my sister like the way she always takes care of me
and I never make her disappointed at me. I’ll be the person like my sister.
AN
INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION
UNICEF is an
organization whose main aim is providing long-term humanitarian and development
assistance to children and mothers in development countries. Staring at wartime,
UNICEF provided emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had
been devastated by World War II. Up to now, UNICEF has done lots of good things
which help a lot of children to develop normally. For example, UNICEF assisted
some countries in education ground. UNICEF was emphasized the important rule of
children in the future that we had to act for children right. Children at a lot
of part of the world need to be protected from war, illiteracy and violence. Therefore,
UNICEF has fight for our young generation to develop, to grow strong and to
continue our achievement for decades. UNICEF has done lots of good work for
children as well as our future. That people recognize how important children
are.
A BOOK THAT I
LIKE
Books are
informative sources that we can exploit forever. For me, books like a friend, a
teacher and an entertainment tool. In one of books I have, I like best a book
which written by a famous French writer, names “Lost and Found”. The story is revolving
the life of three main characters, a psychologist, a rich young girl and a
complicated teenager girl. Three of them take the same fight and meet each
other by chance. The mystery of their life gradually comes to light that they
came through a lot of pains and lost. At the end of the book, they decide to
move on and leave the past behind. I am interested in this book when I read it
on the first page. I love the way the writer created unexpected connects among
the characters and make me so scared of not knowing what happen next. This is
the best dramatic mysterious book I have ever read.
For me, books
like a friend, a teacher and an entertainment tool. In one of books I have read,
the one gives me the deepest impression is “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” of
Stephen Chbosky. The stories are revolving the life of an introvert freshman is
taken under of two seniors who welcome him to the real world. The main character
names Charlie who has a tragically damaged childhood which prevents him from
being able to live normally like anybody else. Therefore, high school is strange
place to him. The book shows a lot of aspects of American high school life
which amaze me impressively. The music, the descriptions of love and friendship
on this book are pure and so lovely. Besides, it is not perfect because of
differences of view between them. In short, the book shows me how great the
school time is and lots of beautiful images that always stuck in my mine.
COMPUTER IN OUR
LIFE
The twenty-first century is the rising
time of information technology. The perfect representative is computers. Computers
are the most important thing whose potential is unlimited for man to exploit.
People created computers for a lot of needs like text editing, studying,
graphic design, storing information, entertainment and so on. Computers
obviously exist around us in every electronic device. Computers contribute to
connecting people around the word throughout the internet. Computer could
become a music player, a small version of Movie Theater, a newspaper, source of
entertainment… For someone, computers are their partners in job. Moreover,
computers control lots of enormous and complicating activities. Computers are
so important that our society will have a big trouble without them. If you
don’t use computer or don’t have ones, you have to be acquainted with it now
because of huge benefit it can give us.
MY HOBBY THAT I
LIKE
Hobbies are something that you do regularly in your
free time. In one of my hobbies, I most enjoy painting and drawing because I
love art. Summer is the time which I freely do whatever I like. Therefor, I
start painting when summer begins. I paint a lot of kind of art, some to use
and some to sell such as bookmarks, cards… The material I love most is water
color pencils. By this material, I use it to create portraits, landscapes,… I
draw everything I like such as an animal, an actor and my friends. I draw and
paint when I was a little boy and I sure that I very enjoyed it.
